The TV series about the Spanish designer Crist&oacute;bal Balenciaga is arriving on the <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/pop-culture/film-serie-tv-novembre-2023-da-guardare-netflix-sky-prime-disney" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Disney+</a> streaming platform on 19th January 2024 . Directed by Jos&eacute; Mari Goenaga, Aitor Arregi and Jon Gara&ntilde;o, the telling of <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/la-storia-di-cristobal-balenciaga-designer-biografia-aneddoti" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Balenciaga's story</a> is contextualized and set during the period from the Spanish Civil War to the early Seventies.
The trailer confirms that the TV series opens with the presentation of the first haute couture collection in 1937 and how it caught the attention of Parisians by competing together to French luxury brands: Chanel, Dior and Givenchy.

Alberto San Juan will play Crist&ograve;bal Balenciaga , who he revealed helped him get into the role thanks to the costume designer Bina Daigeler and Pepo Ruiz Dorado. The cast of the Disney + TV series also features international actors including Bel&eacute;n Cuesta who plays Fabiola de Mora y Arag&oacute;n, Josean Bengoetxea in the role of Nicol&aacute;s Bizkarrondo (the businessman from San Sebastian) Cecilia Solaguren with the role of his wife Virgilia Mendizabal and Adam Quintero who plays Ram&oacute;n Esparza, faithful collaborator of the Spanish designer.
