Dior launches the B31 sneakers
The House’s latest sneaker iteration is built to accompany your outdoor activities.
You can tell that footwear has been one of Dior’s main focuses in recent memory just by the sheer volume of various instalments that it has revealed throughout 2022 – from the iconic silhouettes like B22 technical mesh sneaker to the snazzy low-top (and high-top) B23 and the perfect all-day-all-night B23 and B30 sneakers.
Expanding the vocabulary of the footwear, creative director Kim Jones alongside Dior Men’s footwear lead Thibo Denis have pushed the envelope once again by introducing the B31 sneakers.
Debuted during the Dior Men Summer 2023 show in late June 2022, the B31 sneaker is distinguished by its modern silhouette that combines technical expertise with the House’s couture spirit.
All pairs are fitted with technical mesh and the new futuristic take on the Dior’s emblematic Cannage motif made with rubber in various punctuations of summer tones - bright orange, turquoise, olive and Dior’s black, grey, and white. The outsole is reinforced with rubber pads for a better grip, completed with the CD Diamond signature overlapping the ‘DIOR’ lettering while eyelets recall a hiking shoe.
Other finishing touches include the CD Diamond drawstring cord and the brand’s signature adorning the tongue and front of the sneaker.
Elevating the everyday shoe with these features, the sneaker makes a breeze to slip in and out. Retailing for RM 5,300, the refreshing B31 comes with the right touch of sporty elements for daily wear.
