Everything BLACKPINK wore for the state dinner in Buckingham Palace
From Self-Portrait to Fendi, Dior and Lihi Hod, we round up the designer labels each BLACKPINK member wore for the state dinner at Buckingham Palace
At the invitation of the British royal family, BLACKPINK recently attended the royal state banquet held at Buckingham Palace in London, where they were also awarded Honorary MBEs for their climate change advocacy as COP26 Advocates for the United Nations climate summit held in Glasgow in 2021.
And this marks the second idol girl group invited to Buckingham Palace after the Spice Girls in 1997. For the grand event, each of the four members, Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa were also dressed up immaculately which has garnered heated discussion around the world.
So, let's find out what did the girls wear exactly for the event:
Jennie in Lihi Hod
For the extravaganza, Jennie (known for her sleek and unapologetic cool-girl vibes) chose to grace the red carpet in a pure white gown by the designer Lihi Hod. Part of the designer's Dreams by Lihi Hod 2023 wedding collection, Jennie was like an angel strolling down the halls of Buckingham Palace.
To accompany the look, she chose to carry a Self-Portrait clutch by the Malaysian-born London-based designer Han Chong. Deck in dazzling silver, the Selver Chainmail Clutch Bag is the perfect touch of playfulness to the elegant look.
Jisoo in Dior
A staple choice emerged on Jisoo for the evening where the idol and Dior global brand ambassador chose to wear one of the key looks from the Dior Cruise 2024 collection.
Delicate and beautiful like a blossoming flower, the all-black evening dress was a dream come to life for Jisoo, who paired the look with the Dior CD Signature Oval Bag.
Rosé in Pinkong
For Rosé, she also went for an all-black look but instead of an international luxury brand, she chose to don an elegant number by Korean designer Pinkong.
A favourite among BLACKPINK members, Pinkong has been spotted on Rosé and her fellow members on several occasion including Lisa for a Bulgari event and Jennie for her Gentle Monster campaign.
Lisa in Georges Hobeika
Strolling down the red carpet in a dazzling mint green cape dress by Georges Hobeika, Lisa definitely sparked plenty of interest and praise for her style.
Decorating her look with Bulgari jewellery and a Fendi First clutch, the look was impeccable, bold and definitely one of our favourites of Lisa over the years.
