As part of Riccardo Tisci's identity recoding journey for the British house, the Burberry Monogram was first unveiled in August 2018 and now the full collection has finally arrived!

Designed by Peter Saville, the graphic designer translated a selection of 20th-century Thomas Burberry logo motifs into a beige-honey hued tessellating pattern that spells the founder's initial  'T' and 'B'.

And as Burberry rolls out its first full Monogram collection this May, Riccardo assembles photographer Nick Knight, art director Peter Saville, stylist Katy England, make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench and hair stylist Gary Gill, a crew of second-to-none British creatives to realise the debut campaign starring Gigi Hadid.

Along with the campaign imagery, Gigi was cast as the protagonist for a special 40-second campaign video where the supermodel portrays four distinct character – the boy, the gentleman, the girl and the lady –manifesting the collection's diverse dimension and personalities.

"The idea behind the shoot was to create imagery that allowed Gigi to play out the four characters of the lady, the gentleman, the girl and the boy in a very simple, stripped-back and honest studio environment."

"Gigi performed brilliantly as a girl, boy, woman and man – it was so interesting to explore how one individual could manifest the universe of Burberry."

– Peter Saville.
