Adidas x Gucci is the star for the Exquisite Gucci show
After weeks of anticipation, the Adidas x Gucci collab has finally dropped at Gucci's latest runway presentation, fittingly titled "Exquisite Gucci."
Topping fashion week headlines this week is Gucci, who surprised the audience with an Adidas collaboration during its latest show at Milan Fashion Week.
No stranger to incorporating whimsy into contemporary fashion, creative director Alessandro Michele's collection cohesively blended otherwise clashing styles. Fusing classic sportswear and 1980s glamour, Michele brought decadence to casual sport, pairing extravagant furs with accessories featuring Adidas' iconic three stripes.
The House also presented exquisite tailoring (hence the collection name), an on-trend fuzzy Adidas set, '80s New Look-inspired oversized belts, and lots of plaids.
Along with the show's exciting surprises were equally exciting celebrity sightings. A$AP Rocky wore gloves from the collection as he stood alongside a radiant Rihanna, whose baby bump was on proud display as the couple posed for pictures before the show.
Other VIP cameos included Jared Leto, a Gucci favourite, as well as a striking Serena Williams in a black Gucci clad look. New Gucci ambassador, Squid Games actor Lee Jung-Jae, made an appearance, as did British actresses Jodie-Turner Smith and Normal People's Daisy Edgar-Jones.
