Hanni, Halle Bailey and Julia Garner are the new faces of Gucci Horsebit 1955

Gucci reintroduces its modern icon in new campaign.

The Horsebit is one of the most timeless symbols at the house of Gucci. In 2019, the equestrian-inspired hardware was reimagined into a range of handbags for Gucci Cruise 2020 collection. Named and refined from an archival design introduced six decades ago, the Gucci Horsebit 1955 preserves the structured silhouette with a contemporary spirit, making it a versatile piece for any occasion and look.

This season, Gucci reintroduces the modern icon with a new campaign starring NewJeans’ Hanni, Halle Bailey and Julia Garner. The trio, who were seen together at the front row of Gucci Fall 2023 show, make the Horsebit 1955 their own in a series of intimate portraits set against rich-coloured backdrop, showcasing the many facets and ways of styling of the bag.

Ahead of the release of the Horsebit 1955 campaign, Hanni also took to Instagram to share her interaction with Julia Garner and Halle Bailey on the set.

 

Hanni is set to perform at cult music festival Lollapalooza this August with her NewJeans members; Julia Garner, who skyrocketed into superstardom with her performance in Netflix’s Ozark and Inventing Anna, will play Madonna in the biopic of the pop superstar; meanwhile, Disney’s upcoming The Little Mermaid live-action musical will mark the Grammy-nominated singer Halle Bailey’s movie debut.
