Hermès reopens its Pavilion KL flagship store
Right before we usher in the New Year, we are graced with the reopening of the Hermès flagship store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and it comes with more glamour than ever!
The 254-square-meter duplex in the Couture Pavilion side of the mall now sports has been given a new breath of life under the artistic direction of Denis Montel, RDAI, the Parisian architectural agency.
Upon entering at each level, you will be greeted with the impressive glass back
façade bathing the store in natural light and on the main entrance (level 2 of Pavilion KL), you will also see a Malaysian touch to the interior.
Greeting you at the entrance is the house’s signature ex-libris set on a ‘Faubourg’ pattern stoneware mosaic floor, which is contrasted with deep brown teakwood flooring that brings a touch of traditional Malaysian flooring to its Parisian chic facade.
And within this duplex, you will get the pleasure of browsing the full collection of Hermès collections including high jewellery, ready-to-wear, accessories, beauty and watches.
Also, for the first time ever, there is also a dedicated section for Hermès home collections, where you are truly embraced by the Hermès lifestyle experience.
Now, we all know that Hermès prioritises constant requirement for the finest quality and luxury.
So another great thing about the new Hermès space is the design that focused on the idea of a framework, where single products are housed individually inside a frame display to allow undivided attention and focus on the quality and finesse of each individual product.
And this includes certain limited edition works like the likes of the Hermès Birkin bag. The last we saw, there was a picnic basket-inspired one.
