Irina Shayk and Bella Hadid front Moschino Spring 2021 campaign
Moschino unveils its Spring 2021 campaign lensed by its long-time collaborator Steven Meisel, starring Irina Shayk, Bella Hadid, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Julia Nobis and Achenrin Madit.
The Italian house knows its way to dial up the drama, even when the time is challenging. Last September, when border restrictions were still in the picture for most parts of the world, creative director Jeremy Scott sent down marionettes on the “runway“ of Moschino Spring 2021 Ready-to-Wear collection, delivering a show as immersive as it is enchanting from a physical front row.
Themed “No Strings Attached”, the campaign is realised under the same idea as the show, and through the lens of Steven Meisel – whose eccentricity matches Moschino’s whimsy - the muses become the marionettes. Unlike what was showcased last September, the campaign spotlights the couture-esque details where we can see the structure and movement of fabrics from a more true-to-life dimension.
