Jason Wu to launch exclusive collaboration in Asia
Rising to fame as the go-to designer for Michelle Obama since 2008, Taiwanese-born and New York-based designer Jason Wu is now hot on the heels for the Asian fashion scene.
Partnering with Sometime • By Asian Designers and Zalora, Jason is set to launch an Asia-exclusive bag collection for his GREY Jason Wu line.
Often described as the "Jason Wu off-duty" subsidiary, GREY Jason Wu is the more casual chic younger sister that sports the same elegant and classy notes of the main line.

On this exclusive collaboration, Jason says, "With this collaboration, it's not just about Jason Wu, Sometime and Zalora."
"What I hope in the next few years is for designers and fellow Asian companies to come into prominence globally because everybody knows (as Asians) we know how to buy bags, but what they don't know is we know how to make and design bags."
For those of who are unfamiliar with Sometime • By Asian Designers, they are a bag specialist company that collaborates with Asian designers and fashion influencersto design exclusive collections for the market.
Set to launch in May/June 2018, the Jason Wu x Sometime • By Asian Designers x Zalora collection will be available exclusively on Zalora Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong e-commerce sites.
