Levi's celebrates pride with rainbow collection
In June 1969, the Stonewall Inn was raided by police, leading to a historical riot led by New York’s LGBTQ community during which they demanded equal rights, treatment, and visibility.
Today, June is a month of celebration and marching across the country and a time to break out the most colourful pieces in your wardrobe to show your pride.
Levi’s is the latest brand to show their support with their 2018 Pride Collection, featuring rainbow logos on denim staples, rainbow suspenders and belts, and t-shirts that read “I AM.”
The best part? 100% of net proceeds go to the Harvey Milk Foundation and the Stonewall Community Foundation.
The campaign features several notable members of the LGBTQ community, including drag queen Juanita More, chef Melissa King, and activist iO Tillett Wright.
