Jojo Goh's 5 ways to embrace the art of Parisianing in KL

In a special collaboration with Longchamp, Jojo Goh takes us on a journey to live like a Parisian in our very own Kuala Lumpur.

In fashion, we have always held a great fascination to the Parisian lifestyle with that je ne sais quoi attitude and that led us to our special collaboration with the quintessential Parisian label, Longchamp (@longchamp).

For this exclusive project, we decided to explore the art of "Parisianing", where we journey to embrace the Parisian code of living in our very own home city, Kuala Lumpur, and who better to guide us through the art than our ambassador Jojo Goh (@gojojojojogoh).

From wine and dine to arts, culture and fashion, here are Jojo's five ways to embrace the art of Parisianing in Kuala Lumpur.

#1: Drinking coffee like a Parisian

Parisian love their cafés and so do we! The first step to embrace the art of Parisianing is to learn how to drink your coffee like one.

First, always remember that black coffee is the way to go and always dress the part when visiting a café, especially after 10 AM. And of course, have a side of cake, croissant or pastry.

Here in KL, Jojo takes us to Pinch Bistro in Bangsar for a quiet cuppa with her latest Longchamp Mademoiselle bag.

#2: Embracing the arts

Without a question, art plays a pivotal role in Paris. After all, some of the most important masterpieces are housed inside the iconic Louvre Museum.

We might not have Mona Lisa or Venus de Milo at our disposal in Kuala Lumpur but we are still filled with both traditional and contemporary art by our talented local artists.

For this part of the guide, Jojo brings us to KEN Gallery at TTDI, one of the latest showcase in town that houses the owner's private collection of over 100 paintings from various local Malaysian artists.

And what better to match the art space than the intricate La Baronne clutch by Longchamp of course!

#3: A walk in the park ala Parisian

Jardin du Luxembourg, Jardin des Tuileries and Jardins du Trocadéro, these names are ones on everyone's lips when they are in Paris.

The time spent within a park for Parisians is very prominent, be it a stroll around the park, picnic on its grounds or just reading by the lakes.

In Malaysia, we have our own tropic natural wonders too like Kuala Lumpur's Perdana Botanical Gardens and Jojo fits right in with her casual chic look of white and print with the Longchamp Madeleine bag (swipe gallery above to see more).

Of course, with our weather and the sun, sometimes the bag goes over our heads to double as shade.

#4: Fashion, style and Longchamp!

And when it comes to fashion, Parisian Chic is second to none and we absolutely adore it! But what makes it so captivating is that je ne sais quoi attitude.

It's about embracing your own unique style without conforming to others. So, no matter if we are in a tropical country with the warm and humid weather, leather jackets and skirts can still be rocked with style.

Just like Jojo, who wears with plenty of charisma, paired with the Longchamp Mademoiselle bag.

#5: A night of spectacular gastronomy

When it comes to wine and dine, no one does it better than the French. Their repertoire of Michelin-starred restaurants are living proofs of that!

So, to end this tour, Jojo takes us to The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur for a gastronomic dining experience unlike any other.

And just like the Parisians, style is something embraced everywhere and instead of the classic look, Jojo steps out in a sleek velvet dress, paired with edgy Mademoiselle ankle boots and Effrontee crossbody bag – perfecting the je ne sais quoi look.

The Longchamp Fall/Winter collection, as seen on Jojo Goh, is now available at all Longchamp boutiques including Pavilion KL and The Gardens Mall.
