Longchamp’s Brioche bag is getting a myriad of new colourways to usher in a new season this month. A relatively newcomer to the Longchamp family, the Brioche first made its debut on the house’s Spring/Summer 2021 runway and soon became the season’s object of affection with its soft, streamlined silhouette in lambskin.

The quilted Brioche features a sleek, compact design with a sliding metal chain that allows the wearer to play with different styles, each completed with a leather-covered, metal-rimmed clasp.

The new iteration sees Brioche’s puffy contour and structural shape enriched with bold colours and magnetic tactile treatment. Two new pastel shades – powder-pink and dove-grey – are introduced to the Brioche line for some extra notes of sweetness and creaminess. Meanwhile, the glossy, snakeskin-effect calf skin sets a contrasting rock ‘n’ roll accent to the refined design.

A little denim goes a long way. Rendered in indigo cotton canvas, the new Brioche offers a denim edit with a clasp covered in tan lambskin.

A departure from Brioche’s quilting, this interpretation in fluffy, shearling-effect canvas with a natural calfskin clasp pays nod to Pierre Paulin, the interior designer who inspired the collection.

The legacy of Pierre Paulin can also be spotted in this striking, wave-shape quilting Brioche.
