Longchamp takes the Roseau bag to the next level with a new look
For the past year, the world has undergone rapid changes and the fashion industry is no exception as brands adapt and evolve to entice consumers with new aesthetics and vision. For Longchamp, creative director Sophie Delafontaine has, once again, stepped up her game and reworked the iconic Longchamp Roseau bag.
Prominently featured on the Fall/Winter 2021 runway, the new Longchamp Roseau comes in an array of new silhouettes and designs that elevates the Parisienne style, a core design value for the Maison including mixing leather textures, the use of resin materials and reimagining exotic skin on calfskin leather.

CHAINED TO PERFECTION
If you want to spice up your wardrobe to be street-style ready and picture-perfect, then look no further than the new Longchamp Roseau Chaine bag – an edgy new silhouette that will catch the eyes of passerby when you strut down the streets.
Featuring a chunky, vintage-look acetate toggle and chain, the Roseau Chaine is all about that alluring 70s mod vibe (but now with a 2021 twist). Crafted in smooth cowhide in shades of natural, ecru and red, the Longchamp Roseau is a subtle silhouette that packs a punch in style.
The idea of mixing leather with acetate accents truly brings out that je ne sais quoi attitude – the very core of Parisian chic.

FRAME UP YOUR WILD SIDE
Unlike most, Longchamp has always shied away from using authentic exotic animal skin for its bag designs. Instead, the Maison has managed to recreate the texture and feel of exotic skin perfectly on calfskin – marrying the sensible design of Roseau with a touch of wildness that excites your wardrobe.
Aside from the full crocodile-print leather on the bag, we meet a new addition to the Roseau family: the Longchamp Roseau Frame – a bag that combines the elegance of exotic crocodile print with the velvety richness of suede leather. This new graphic version of Roseau, which is available in various sizes, plays with both contrasting materials and aluminous colour effects to evoke the bold and daring spirit of the Maison.
Our favourite is definitely the rich cognac tone on the Roseau Frame design.

While fancy new acetate chains and crocodile-print leathers are plenty chic, sometimes we just need a good old classic Roseau and Longchamp has plenty ready to entice you with. From the classic smooth cowhide to its signature LGP print, you will be spoilt with choices.
Our go-to will have to be the Roseau Jacquard LGP that features an oversized, silver-tone toggle and glossy black crocodile-style trim.
