As Marc Jacobs put it, his Fall/Winter 2018 collection is "an unapologetic ode to fashion at the forefront" – in short, it is a collection made for the runway.
Voluminuous necks, strong shoulders and bold patterns painted the runway at Park Avenue Armory, complemented by black Stephen Jones for Marc Jacobs hats. Inspired by the glamorous 80s, excess is gold for Marc Jacobs.
Together with these bold masterpieces are the Snapshot bags, a newly-inducted staple to the fashion house, and now featured in sharp neon hues to catch the attention of all who passes.
And to present this stunning collection, we have two multi-talented models – Lynn Lim (@lynlynnlynnnlynnnnlynnnnn), a rising actress and an established model in Malaysia; and Nia Atasha (@sleepylllama), a new kid in the fashion block who also happens to knack in visual art.
No short on sex appeal, the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2018 collection breaks the mould of contemporary beauty and leads us to embrace a long-forgotten idea of excessive beauty.
