With his appointment, Gherardo is set to debut his first collection in September 2018.

After the <a href="https://www.lofficielmalaysia.com/fashion/creative-director-bruno-frisoni-leaves-roger-vivier">departure of Bruno Frisoni</a> early last month, Maison Roger Vivier has finally found its successor for the role of creative director:&nbsp;Gherardo Felloni.

A fresh face to the scene,&nbsp;Gherardo has a wide repertoire&nbsp;of experiences including his most recent role at Miu Miu as&nbsp;creative director of footwear (since 2014) and before, at Dior with both John Galliano and Raf Simons (2008 &ndash; 2014), which means he has worked under brilliant minds Miuccia Prada, John Galliano and Raf Simons.

Set to debut his first Roger Vivier collection in September 2018,&nbsp;Gherardo promises a fresh contemporary take to the coveted shoe label.

He says, &quot;Roger Vivier is the absolute reference of luxury shoes. I have always been fascinated by him and its master of modernity, its ultimate chic and its endless creativity.&quot;

&quot;I feel honoured to be part of Roger Vivier today and develop it further, respecting its heritage and tradition while adding a contemporary and modern take, something Mr. Vivier has always demonstrated.&quot;
