"The Ultimate Illusion" of the MSGM Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show
Massimo Giorgetti presents a return to the bourgeois and Milanese allure of the original MSGM, but also a desire for cleanliness and minimalism.
The keyword is minimalist glamour. Massimo Giorgetti revises the Fall/Winter 2023 women's collection starting from the Edgar Allan Poe poem, 'A Dream Within A Dream', from 1849: «In a night, or in a day, in a vision, or in none, is it, therefore, the less gone? All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream».
On the notes from The Chemical Brothers up to Vanessa Paradis, the creations of the MSGM runway show at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Milan highlights voluminous faux fur that pervades the entire collection, from the sleeves of the blazers, the hats, the bags up to the shoes.
The MSGM Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show is punctuated by a chromatic rhythm and saturated colours, full of sophisticated colour-blocking combinations. Massimo Giorgetti also offers transparent knitwear tops, iridescent workwear suits or suits covered in sequins and brushed animalier wool coats.
And then the prints, one of MSGM's trademarks, introduces two new prints from the MSGMAGMA collection, a super saturated graphic zenith and ILLUSION, a digitized landscape, which takes up the collection.
