Nendo reimagines Longchamp Le Pliage bag
After a myriad of brilliant Le Pliage collaborations, Longchamp is bringing its origami-inspired bag full circle with a special collaboration with esteemed Japanese design studio Nendo to reimagine the design afresh.
Founded by Oki Sato, Nendo aims to bring the "!" moment to everyday life with its design, giving the mundane daily some sprinkles of magic. And for this Le Pliage collaboration, Nendo stays loyal to its ethos of foldable, light-weight and ample capacity while introducing a new identity to the iconic design – a functional, aesthetically pleasing silhouette to be placed around our home.
With a warm, neutral palette, the collection features three different silhouettes – a stiffener, a cone and a circular bag. Among the three, the circular bag is specifically inspired by the traditional furoshiki folding clothes.
