Off-White unveils Fall/Winter 2022 collection “Spaceship Earth: an ‘Imaginary Experience"
Off-White presents a wide array of designs from the mind of Virgil Abloh.
For Fall/Winter 2022, Off-White reimagined what a ready-to-wear collection can be. As one of the last collections by the late Virgil Abloh, the designer's brillance shone through.
In typical Abloh fashion, utilitarian pieces like puffer jackets, hoodies, and suiting were juxtaposed with cutout sweaters, exagerrated headgear, and a parade of tulle, once again turning streetwear on its head to create something completely new.
The show's models and guests were just as impressive. The supermodels of today, like Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, and Karlie Kloss were joined by the original Supers, like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Helena Christensen. Serena Williams also ditched her tennis racket for the runway, and walked the show in a surprise cameo. The front row was similarly stacked: Rihanna looked radiant as she sat alongside her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, and Tracey Ellis Ross and Luka Sabbat were also spotted.
The Fall/Winter 2022 collection from Off-White only further cemented the creative visionary that Abloh was. As we continue to see his brand live on without him, we honor his legacy.
