Just mere hours ago, Givenchy has confirmed the departure of its creative director Riccardo Tisci after a 12-year tenure with the Parisian house.
Having just shown his Fall/Winter 2017 Menswear and Spring 2017 Couture collections a few weeks ago, Givenchy has also announced that the two were the last of Riccardo’s work with the house.
And with no successor at hand (thus far), that also means Givenchy will not be showing its regular Fall/Winter 2017 womenswear runway in the coming Paris Fashion Week in March.
Since his departure, the rumours of Riccardo’s plans to join Versace intensifies and is much anticipated (no matter if it’s true or false).
With all said and done, we would also like to express our love and gratitude to this prodigal designers trailblazing works over the last 12 years and we can’t wait to see more from him!
