From head to toe, we dissect Meghan Markle's wedding look
Once asked about her ideal wedding dress, Meghan Markle pictured her princess-goal: ‘I personally prefer dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic.’
And when the new Duchess of Sussex walked down the aisle of Windsor Castle in her Givenchy Haute Couture wedding dress by Clare Waight Keller, we witnessed the moment when Meghan's fairytale came true.
Now, let us break down HRH Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle's wedding look from head to toe.
Clare Waight Keller, the Artistic Director of Givenchy used a delicate double bonded silk cady with a matt lustre for the dress and cushions the train with triple silk organza to perfect the sculpt of an elegant, modern silhouette.
Beneath the gown, the bride completed her pure-white look with a pair of milky pumps.
According to a statement from the Kensington Palace, the silk satin pumps are designed 'based on a Givenchy refined pointed couture design.'
The silk tulle veil was exquisitely hand-embroidered with flowers, which of each represents a Commonwealth country.
This is Meghan's wish to express her gratitude to have the honour to support and work with Prince Harry, who is the Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.
The bride kept it minimal and sophisticated when it comes to jewellery.
Meghan wears a pair of Galanterie de Cartier earrings and a Reflection de Cartier bracelet, both in white gold and set with diamonds.
Adding another beam alongside her three-stone engagement ring, Meghan wears a wedding band made of Welsh gold, which is a gift from Queen Elizabeth.
Absolulely priceless, the crown jewel was the diamond bandeau tiara worn by her, which is a Royal heirloom that Queen Mary bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth II.
It is said that this tiara can be traced all the way back to 1893.

Before the royal couple gets on their vintage Jaguar E-Type to the evening reception, we caught a glimpse of the bride wearing a Stella McCartney high neck lily white gown, along with another priceless heirloom: Princess Diana's aquamarine cocktail ring.
