Anthony Vaccarello kept Saint Laurent's classic look with lots of grunge, leather, and sex appeal. 

As a brand, Saint Laurent has always drawn inspiration from the grittier sides of youth culture&mdash;sex, rock &#39;n&#39;&nbsp;roll, and a general disregard for conventional beauty. And Anthony Vaccarello&rsquo;s collection this season stayed close to the DNA&nbsp;.

Debuting the classic Saint Laurent Le Smoking women&rsquo;s suits, silk blouses, provocative see-through sweaters, and, naturally, dresses and shorts that showed a lot of leg. Unlike other brands that tend to show a massive change in aesthetics when the <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/people/phoebe-philo-leaving-celine-changed-way-dress/" target="_blank">creative director changes</a>, Vaccarello has kept the brand image consistent while injecting a bit of his vision into the larger picture.

Against the&nbsp;backdrop of a sparkling Eiffel Tower, while a row of ghostly palm trees lined the venue, it felt like a piece of Los Angeles was placed in the heart of Paris. Models strutted down the river-like runway, while&nbsp;Lindsay Lohan, Cindy Crawford, and Kate Moss graced the front row, cementing Saint Laurent&#39;s&nbsp;reputation as a staple in contemporary wardrobes&mdash;regardless if you&rsquo;re actually a rocker at heart.
