Prada takes a step ahead to drive sustainable fashion by teaming up with UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission.

The “Sea Beyond” project, which closely follows the launch of Prada Re-Nylon collection, is a three-phase (Learn, Think and Act) educational program with a calling to raise ocean awareness among younger generations.

During the first phase of Sea Beyond, high school teachers in ten cities around the globe received training from UNESCO-IOC experts to develop an educational module that enables students to explore the concept of ocean literacy and ocean sustainability movement.

Moving forward to the second phase, students are engaged to become “sea ambassadors” and tasked with establishing awareness campaigns dedicated to ocean preservation.

This March 2021, as Sea Beyond enters its final phase, Prada and UNESCO-IOC are hosting a virtual event on 26th March 2021, where the winning campaign selected by an international jury will be unveiled.

Watch the livestream of the event on pradagroup.com at 9 PM on 26 March 2021, Malaysia time.
