#StaySafe: A Letter From Our Managing Editor, Monica Mong
Dear readers,
How are you doing at home? Malaysia just extended Movement Control Order until 14 th April, while most parts of the world have shifted working home, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Question: Does buying a fashion magazine still make sense in a pandemic? In these challenging times when our focus shifts to a few key matters: survival, health and maintaining our financial stability, I do believe fashion magazine has a role to play – by giving a pause button to all these worries and shedding light into your dimmed days; to tell you you are not alone nor living in a different world; and to be a window of distraction, escapism, dream and hope.
Our intention here at L'Officiel Malaysia is simple. In order to provide you escape into the wonders of fashion, we are giving three months worth of free digital subscription of our magazines on Magzter.com starting from April 2020 issue (mechanics will be announced on 1st April 2020) to encourage you to stay home and read, flatten the curve, be safe and healthy.
