An annual awards ceremony in the United States, The American Image Awards saw Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers awarded Designer of The Year for 2017.
Known for his incredible talent and for reviving the Coach brand, Stuart has been at the helm of the brand since 2013.
This annual awards ceremony, organised by The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), honours those who showcases outstanding talents in its respective field in fashion.
Awards aside, every year AAFA also partners with a different beneficiary to fund its cause and this year, the partnership goes to Fashion Manufacturing Initiative, a project by Council of Fashion Designers of America.
Along with Vevers, a stellar list of talents was also awarded:

- Fashion Maverick | Nick Graham
- Lifetime Achievement | Ed Nardoza (former WWD editor-in-chief)
