Naomi, Gisele, Christy and more star in Versace Spring 2018 campaign
Donatella Versace has had quite the year (being named Fashion Icon by the British Fashion Council and having Penelopé Cruz cast as her in a TV series) and bigger things are set to come her way in the coming months like the Versace Spring 2018 campaign.
A a staged supermodel coup at the Spring 2018 shows in September, Donatella has once again enlisted the help of her "Versace Family" in coming together for a star-studded campaign that is nothing short of legendary to kick off 2018 — the 40th anniversary of the famed Italian fashion house.
Starring Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Gisele Bündchen, Irina Shayk, Raquel Zimmerman, and Natalia Vodianova alongside the next generation of reigning supermodels including Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Grace Elizabeth, the campaign was photographed by longtime Versace collaborator Steven Meisel, and art directed by Donatella herself.

The girls all modelled the Spring 2018 collection, which was a tribute to the house's history, and the signature work of her brother Gianni Versace, who died exactly twenty years ago.
Donatella says, "This campaign represents the link between past and present. You need to know who you are, and where you are coming from, to build your future."
"And when you are at the head of a brand with such a strong heritage as mine, you can only embrace it. This is the reason why I wanted to see this iconic supermodel cast next to the soon-to-be-iconic girls of the future.”
