Victoria Beckham drops first-ever campaign for 10th anniversary
Ten years ago, Marc Jacobs released its Spring 2008 campaign – Legs, Bags and Shoes –, shot by Juergen Teller, featuring a pair of legs, heels and a giant shopping tote.
And Victoria Beckham, to whom the legs belong was turned into a product – a living doll glamorously sneaking out from shoe box and bag.
"Fashion nowadays is all about product — bags and shoes — and you’re kind of a product yourself, aren’t you?", and this is how photographer Juergen Teller had convinced Victoria Beckham at that point of time.
Today, a decade after, the popstar-turned-entrepreneur reunites with Juergen Teller to reimagine the iconic campaign for her brand's 10th anniversary because, in her words, "what better way to illustrate the story of the past ten years than by revisiting the creative?"
And yes, the photo is then featured on a limited edition t-shirt, which is now available on www.victoriabeckham.com, Victoria Beckham Dover Street and Victoria Beckham Hong Kong.
"When Marc Jacobs featured me coming out of a shopping bag a decade ago it really was just the beginning of my journey into the fashion industry. It was funny and ironic and brilliantly captured by Juergen Teller. And it came out just as I was about to present my debut collection."

This is not the first time Posh made her witty statement with a fashion approach.
