What makes the Nike Joyride CC3 Setter tick?
We first heard of the new Nike Joyride series back in September when Nike first launched the new silhouette that highlights a new innovative cushioning system.
And with the launch, Nike unveiled a variety of designs and colourway within the Joyride family including the classic Joyride Run Flyknit and the women's Joyride NSW Optik design, but the most exciting of them all is the premium lifestyle edition – the Nike Joyride CC3 Setter.
As Nike puts it, the CC3 Setter is the "muscle car" of the Joyride family, where it marries style, function and statement into one singular dynamic vision.
First spotted on Matthew Williams' Spring/Summer 2020 ALYX show at Paris Fashion Week, the sportswear mogul has released a series of Joyride CC3 Setter to our delight, which included various colour combinations that focuses on one primary colour and a selection of companion hues.
From the White/Barely Volt/Total Crimson/Black to Anthracite/Oil Grey/Black/Dark Smoke Grey combinations, this premium lifestyle edition of the Joyride family sure packs quite a statement – all while giving you ultimate comfort with its two-pod cushioning technology.
But our favourite would definitely be the Hyper Pink/Black/Racer Blue/Kumquat edition, which gives just enough of that extra "wow" factor to our look. Also unlike the other Joyrides, the CC3 Setter also features unique key motifs like the unique upper with rubber eyelets and stability patches, which is tuned to keep the foot secure atop the ultra-plush, three-pod tooling.
To add to the merriment, Matthew Williams also launched two special editions of the CC3 setter, named the Nike MMW CC3 Setter, which is available in black or grey, and features the MMW logo on the body.
