Discovered in Copenhagen at the age of 15 (circa 2015), Lululeika Ravn Liep is a model who took the express train to fame, starting from her exclusive debut with Louis Vuitton and now she stands front and centre for our L'Officiel Malaysia March 2018 cover.
Themed the "Throwback" issue, March is all about taking you back to the classics that define the past. After all, history tends to repeat itself in the fashion world (thankfully, for the right reasons).
Dressed in Raf Simon's Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, Lululeika’s distinctive face and fiery Pre-Raphaelite hair are captured perfectly by photographer Xiangyu Liu in Berlin.
And did you know that just this Spring/Summer 2018 season alone, Lululeika has been walking the runways of all the biggest designers, from Dior’s feminist rally to Thom Browne’s fantasia.
Now, our cover shoot with Lululeika caps off her year-long travels around the globe and this just marks another beginning for this rising model.
Managing editor Monica says, "We got hold of Xiangyu Liu (who never think inside the box) for the second time (the first was August 2017), going into a neighbourhood barbershop where everyone barely speaks English to get some shots done... for this photoshoot with Lululeika, we love it!
