Meet Jeanne Toussaint by Cartier, the real star of Ocean's 8
10 years after its last, the latest sequel to the movie "Ocean's" franchise s upon us as Ocean's 8 sets to debut this month.
Featuring a cast of all-female actors including Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Awkwafina and more, the biggest fashion heist is about to happen.
This time, the heist target is, none other than, the Jeanne Toussaint necklace, which is recreated by Cartier especially for the film, and the story will be centred around the biggest fashion event of the world – The MET Gala.
And along with Jeanne Toussaint, a long list of Cartier jewellery are also featured within the film.

The original version of Jeanne's projection necklace was designed by Jacques Cartier, the third son of a Cartier family for the Maharaja of Nabánaga in 1931.
It was closer to a piece of art than jewellery piece, dubbed by the designer "the most beautiful waterfall of coloured diamonds in the world'.
The necklace that appears in this movie was made by 15 to 20% smaller than original model according to the dimension of actor Anne Hathaway.
Anne Hathaway, who appears as a world-renowned actress Daphne Klujer, is seen with Jeanne Toussaint and the Panther de Cartier collection in the trailer.
