Cerruti 1881, a Parisian fashion brand relaunched in 1967 by Nino Cerruti from his family business, spells out sophisticated elegance and contemporary energy in capturing the spirit of the times. “Ruscello” is the Italian word for “stream” — a reference to the flow in creative style by the house of Cerruti 1881 that appeals to the urban-chic. A sporty-elegant timepiece, the Ruscello features these specifications: stainless steel case in 48 mm diameter with flat brushed angles and a distinct round bezel; water resistance of up to 50 m; date, hour, minute and second indications as well as chronograph functionality; and quartz movement. Its integrated strap, embossed with a Cerruti 1881 wording, ensures a comfortable fit around the wrist, especially with a silicon construction.
With a choice of two core series differentiated by a key variation in the subdial layout, the Ruscello collection offers three colour variants: white with yellow gold accents, green with rose gold accents, and green-grey with rose gold accents, for the 3-6-9 subdial configuration. The series with a 6-9-12 subdial composition has five chromatic propositions: grey with yellow gold accents, green with yellow gold/white accents, blue with rose gold accents, black with rose gold accents and white with blue/grey accents, along with an added stitching detail on the strap. Besides its industrial design elements, the Cerruti 1881 Velletri Men Multi-function collection’s round case of 45 mm diameter is amplified by a large knurled crown and multilayered skeletonised dial whose construction reveals the watch’s inner mechanical structure. To match, the lugs and the lumed hour and minute hands are also skeletonised, while the dial boasts a bold Arabic number 12-hour marker and 5-minute markings along the chapter ring.
A Japanese quartz movement powers the watch to accurately provide the time of the day and the functionality for a 24-hour subdial and a day subdial. Equipped in a stainless steel case with 50 m water resistance, alongside five different colour design iterations and a combination strap in silicon and stitched embossed leather, the Velletri Multi-function watch model merges utility with style in effortless ease.
