The Gucci Horsebit watch proves to us that time is truly golden
The iconic Horsebiy clamp turns 70 and Gucci celebrates the anniversary with two new watches and a string of jewellery.
The classic horsebit motif, created by Aldo Gucci in 1953, reflects the historical connection of the fashion house's with the equestrian world.
And after having been interpreted for seventy years in various motifs, finishes and details on accessories, jewellery and ready-to-wear, Gucci celebrates the icon's anniversary with two new Gucci Horsebit watches .
The first showcases a delicate double row chain, paired with a multifaceted lozenge case, where the links are interlocked to create seamless geometric chains, while the second one brings out the maximalist aesthetic with a three-row chain, making a bolder statement for its wearer.
On top of the two new watch designs, the anniversary design motif is also reimagined in a series of fine jewellery collection including two bracelets, a necklace and a ring. Decorated with diamond baguettes and complemented with green enamel links, the design is timeless and bold, bringing that much-loved Gucci flair to play.
