In Photos: Rain celebrates the new Cartier at ION Orchard boutique
One of the legendary South Korean entertainers who brought K-Pop culture to the world stage, the multi-hyphenated artist Rain (Jung Ji-hoon, @rain_oppa) recently flew into Singapore with Cartier for a special event and we were there to witness it all!
The first and largest three-storey boutique in South East Asia, the new Cartier at ION Orchard housed the exquisite "Cartier, Icon of Style" exhibition and built a spectacular Cartier Ferris Wheel, which was opened to the public to experience the beauty and heritage of the jeweller.
Rain aside, the grand opening night saw a long list of stars and personalities in attendance, including Jane Chuck and Hanpin Ma (Malaysia); Fann Wong and Rebecca Lim (Singapore) and Mademoiselle Yulia (Japan).
For the "Cartier, Icon of Style" exhibition, Cartier specially flew in legendary archive masterpieces for the guests of the night, which was then opened to the public on the next day until 6th December 2018.
Some of the pieces include Barbara Hutton's tiger clip brooch from 1957, Duchess of Windsor's 152.35-carat Panther brooch and a custom snake necklace from Maria Felix.
