Longines celebrates the arrival of Flagship Heritage Black Dial
First introduced to the world in 1957, Longines Flagship collection has been carrying the legacy of the Swiss watchmaker for over half a century. Originally designed for gentlemen, the iconic design has also received a lot of love from the ladies.
This year, Longines reimagines the Maison's paragon with exquisite craftsmanship and design that evokes timeless elegance.
Inspired by a rare black dial model from 1957, the 2020 edition of Flagship Heritage stays authentic to the original watch, featuring a black lacquered dial and finished with golden dolphin-shaped hands to accentuate the composition.
The date is placed at 6 o’clock, indicated by a seconds counter and the “Flagship” inscription, which mirrors Longines watchmaking aesthetic in the 1950s.
The new Flagship Heritage Black Dial completes Longines Flagship Heritage collection, which now includes a cream dial and the 60th anniversary edition launched in collaboration with Kate Winslet.
