Tiffany & Co. surprises New York with its signature shade of blue
Marking the launch of designer Reed Krakoff’s first jewellery collection for Tiffany & Co., the Maison has decided to surprise New Yorker’s daily commute by taking over the city with the signature Tiffany Blue.
Tapping out the idea that jewellery could be an everyday luxury, Tiffany & Co. wants to overturn the stereotype that ‘jewellery is formal’.
Starting from 1st May onwards, bodegas along the streets, coffee carts and the New York yellow cabs are painted in blue to join the celebration, while the famous Atlas clock at Fifth Avenue Flagship store is transformed into a digital screen featuring the behind-the-scenes footage and vignettes from campaign film.
