What happened at the #Longchamp70 Party in Paris?
A legend that started its journey in 1948, this year marks a great milestone for the house of Longchamp as it celebrates its 70th anniversary.
And of course, we are prepared for the unexpected when Longchamp flew us to Paris to join in the celebration.
Hosted at the iconic Palais Garnier Opera House on Grands Boulevards, Longchamp celebrated 70 years of creativity and freedom, starting with a line of pageboys in horse masks and tuxedos at the entrance of the majestic architecture.
"Since 1948, our grandparents and parents have passed on to us the passion for creation and the desire to always be unique and unexpected. At Longchamp, our eagerness drives us to take risks and to be unique in the way we diffuse our French lifestyle, at once confident, impertinent, and light-hearted. As a family business, our true luxury lies in our independence and authenticity.”
– Jean Cassegrain, CEO of Longchamp
Within the Palais Garnier, Longchamp hosted a series of unexpected dance performances led by Dimitri Chamblas, former Artistic Director of the Opéra Garnier and current Dean of the School of Dance at the Californian Institute of the Arts.
Living true to Longchamp's philosophy of being unique and unexpected, the troupe of 30 dancers filled Palais Garnier with much excitement, creativity and vigour.
And joining in the celebration with us is, of course, Kendall Jenner – the newly appointed brand ambassador of Longchamp.
Alongside Kendall was a stellar list of celebrities including Vincent Cassel and Tina Kunakey; Guillaume Canet, Laurent Lafitte, Leïla Bekhti, Caroline Roux, Alessandra Sublet, Ophélie Meunier and DJ Ariel Wizman.
There were also special guests who flew in from the Asian region including Malaysia's Juwei Teoh, China's Mr Bags, Japan's Saira Kunikada and Korea's Heayoun Han.

And wrapping up the evening was an extravagant display where the Cassegrain family including Philippe Cassegrain, Jean Cassegrain, Sophie Delafontaine and Olivier Cassegrain, invited the guests of the night for the official ceremony that saw a dramatic display on the grand staircase of the Palais Garnier.
Soon after, Longchamp invited the famous DJs Feder and The Avener to turn the tables and ignite the dance floor
