The LOFF Crush: Model Jun Young Hwang
Cited as one of the 16 breakout male models in 2019 by models.com, Jun Young’s (@youjustcallmejun) career has propelled to new heights ever since, commanding the catwalk stages of Hermès, Loewe, Berluti and Stella McCartney to just name a few throughout his lucrative F/W 2020 season.
Besides being a regular on the runway, he is also coveted for campaigns, working closely with Prada and Zara Man.
How did he get started?
His ability to exude chicness in whatever garment he is assigned to model in is a quality that any new model would envy. His clientele multiplied after walking the opening spot at Kris Van Assche’s first show for Berluti during his debut season.
Why he’s a one to watch?
In addition to appearing in Craig McDean's Zara ads, he charms his way in front of the television – taking part recently in the filming of Boss in the Mirror by KBS. This Korean show follows the lives of celebrity-CEOs from various industries, including Jun Young's mother agent, Esteem Group's Kim So Yeon.
He is proving to be a real chameleon, as he can shift effortlessly between editorial and a broader commercial appeal. We wouldn't be surprised if his career also expands to acting on the big screen.
