Bold by Veuve Clicquot honours successful Malaysian female leaders
Four inspiring female leaders including Bella Kuan, Jacqueline Ng, Kala Kularajah and Soo Shea Pin.
Bold by Veuve Clicquot was initiated by the Maison as an empowering platform to reinforce its support to female leaders and to help improve inclusion, impact, and visibility.
By building fundamental events around the globe, including Malaysia, women leaders are given a chance to voice up and encourage future generations to be bold and audacious.
To pay tribute to Madame Clicquot’s courageous entrepreneurial spirit back in 1805 and commemorate Maison’s 200th anniversary, the Maison established the Bold Woman Award to showcase and reward women leaders.
Today, four prominent Malaysian women from different backgrounds — Bella Kuan, co-owner of Handmade Heroes, Jacqueline Ng, co-founder of Bookxcess and Big Bad Wolf Books, Kala Kularajah, Advisor of Egon Zehnder and Soo Shea Pin, Founder of Feith share their relentless spirit and entrepreneurial passion at Bold Conversations.
Throughout the talk, when they were asked about how they translate audacity to be relevant in today’s demanding world, Jacqueline believed that everyone must be bold when taking the road less travelled, whilst Bella shared that women should pursue what they desire and not be fettered by the society.
Kala trusts that the mentors in our lives are interchangeable depending on different situations and we are the product of the five people closest to us. On the other hand, Soo Shea Pin left the audience in awe after sharing her personal experience and spoke vigorously about how to start taking ownership of your own life.
