Claudia Tan to join Jameson’s music programme led by Anderson .Paak
“Few things mix better with Jameson than great music.”
With a mission to keep the beats going, Jameson unveils the Distilled Sounds, a new music programme connecting artists around the world. For the first edition, Jameson taps multi-Grammy winner Anderson .Paak – known for his dynamic collaborations with Bruno Mars, A$AP Rocky, Knowledge, and Fred Again – to lead a global line-up of musicians in creating and performing fresh tracks.
"I’m going to be meeting, teaching and supporting a load of great artists and cannot wait to share what we make," shared Anderson .Paak. "It’s all about the connection man! Countries around the world have such exciting music scenes, you really want to bring them together and create something new, for the fans. Who knows - we may create a new genre! The Sound Distillery is like nothing I’ve ever done before - I cannot wait to get started.”
Musicians from Japan, Korea, US, UK, and more will come together in Ireland this August at the Sound Distillery to connect and collaborate, and that includes Kuching-born singer-songwriter Claudia Tan. There, the “Bodies” singer will work closely with Anderson .Paak, his team, and 2KAIIT to write, record, produce, and perform new music.
Claudia has been making waves in the global entertainment scene ever since her 70s-inspired hit went viral in 2020. With 18 million streams on Spotify and a feature on the Times Square billboard in 2023, she is clearly one unstoppable force. And beyond music, Claudia is also a successful writer, with her book series garnering 85 million reads and her second book getting a Hollywood adaptation.
She shared her excitement joing Distilled Sounds: “I’m incredibly honored to be the first Malaysian artist to take part in this program, and am excited to be mentored by one of the greatest creatives in the music industry. Anderson .Paak is a music visionary, and I can’t wait to learn all I can during my sessions with him so that I can refine my own craft and be the best artist I can possibly be.”
