How the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra enhanced our Blackpink concert experience
We tested it out at the recent Blackpink's Born Pink World Tour concert in Malaysia and we have no regrets.
For all music lovers, live concerts are one-of-a-kind experiences that will blow your mind away, and more often than not, we would love to snap a couple of videos and photos for memory's sake.
But since most concerts are at night and you might not have the best seats, a regular smartphone might not capture anything decent results. Whether you're too far from the stage or the venue is too dark, problems often arise.
That's where the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes to play with its spectacular quad camera system that allows up to 100x Space zoom and 30x digital zoom.
And how did we test out the power of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra? We took it for a run when we were at the Blackpink Born Pink World Tour concert in Kuala Lumpur and boy, are we impressed!
While we were unable to secure VVIP seats at the main ground level, we were lucky to score CAT3 seats and our Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra was there to save the day and allowed us to capture some pretty great videos of Blackpink's live performances.
Watch the video below to see how it worked out:
As you saw in the video, by utilising the dual telephoto lens (one at 3x and another at 10x) on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, you can get great HD quality videos with ease and the video above only utilised 16x zoom.
One great thing about the capturing capabilities of the phone is its ability to instantly auto-correct and enhance the video immediately as you zoom away and the improved video stabilisation function, which allows real-time assurance of the video's quality.
Despite such a low-light environment and the distance (close to 100 metres away), both video and audio quality are captured in great detail.
And if you are lucky like YouTube content creator and social media influencer Chang Yong (@changyonggggg) to be able to get VVIP tickets to seat right in front of the stage, your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra can do even more.
As per the photo above taken by Chang Yong, you can get ultra-HD photos, all thanks to the Samsung quad camera system that also includes a 200MP main camera that allows more pixels to be captured within a single frame.
If you are looking for ultra high-quality videos, the S23 Ultra allows up to 8k-definition videos given the right setting.
