A glorious decade has passed and L’Officiel Malaysia is celebrating its 10th anniversary with friends and partners of the industry.
This year at Starhill Gallery, we revelled in the vibrant and dynamic energy of KL city, where over 500 guests were in attendance to experience exclusive showcases and art installations prepared by our sponsors.
The night came alive with a series of exciting activations, from curated drinks to lucky draws, with the grand prize of a luxurious 5D4N stay at Club Med Sahoro, Hokkaido.
Continuing with our support for the local arts and culture scene, we engaged several artists to create special installations for them to showcase their works. First, we have the light sculpture "INFINITUS" by Jun Ong, which is inspired by the concept of boundlessness in time and space framed by the complexities and diversities of cities, illuminated the entrance. Hosted at the entrance of the party, guests stopped by to take pictures with the installation as a captivating backdrop.
Once inside, guests then entered the innovative world of Huawei, where, they explored the tech powerhouse’s latest most fashionable and versatile smartwatch HUAWEI WATCH GT5 Pro inside a special experiential booth before moving next door to witness visual artist Sharina Shahrin’s two art masterpieces created using the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 Inch’s Gopaint App.
To showcase more of the innovative Huawei self-developed Gopaint App, we also wanted featured various artworks by Malaysian artists commissioned by Huawei.
Cinemagoers were in for a treat as Geox gave away tickets to the premiere of Venom: The Last Dance in conjunction with the latest capsule collection drop. Inspired by the action-packed film, the capsule collection arrives with the Walk Pleasure and Spherica™ ECUB-1 shoes that empower urban dwellers to move with strength and ease.
Throughout the night, guests enjoyed cocktails curated by Chivas Regal, Monkey 47, Martell, and The Deacon.
Monkey 47 Gin showcases its signature botanical flavour with Gin & Tonic and Bramble; Chivas XV Sour delights with a blend of rich Chivas XV and zesty lemon while Chivas Martinez Twist offers smoothness with Sweet Vermouth and a soda finish. Presented over ice in a highball glass, Martell Fine à l'eau mixes Martell Noblige with lemon juice and sparkling water for a light, refreshing sip. Finally, the Deacon Scotch Blossom is perfectly complemented by a touch of peach and jasmine.
Elsewhere, beer lovers had a great time with the aromatic 1664 Blanc and the refreshing 1664 Brut. One is a premium wheat beer with a hint of citrus, while the other is a crisp, golden lager that’s smooth and easy to enjoy. All the sparkling water for the night was served by Spritzer, adding a bubbly touch to the celebration.
And of course, every guest left with a goody bag that included Davines haircare essentials loved for their mindful and high-performance formulas.
After the party, we want our readers to experience these wonderful spaces and installations. So, we have opened our doors to the public, where you can now visit The Starhill KL to check out the various installations and artworks including Jun Ong, Huawei, Geox and more.
We have also included an exhibition of our various covers showcasing both local international stars and personalities, where you can experience the L'Officiel DNA.
