RED CLUB x Cartier hosts Young Leader Award 2024 in Singapore
Young and ahead.
Founded in 2019, RED CLUB x Cartier’s mission is to unite and empower a global community of multicultural entrepreneurs. This year, the initiative hosted the 2024 edition of its Young Leader Award (YLA), themed “Tech for a Sustainable Future,” in Singapore, calling attention to technology-driven innovations that address critical environmental and social challenges.
“At Cartier, we believe in the power of young leaders to drive meaningful change. The Young Leader Award is a testament to our commitment to those who contribute to shaping a better future,” shared Cyrille Vigneron, Chairman of Cartier Culture & Philanthropy. “We are honoured to support these extraordinary individuals who are making a tangible difference in our world by inventing across sectors solutions, stimulating economic progress while improving environmental and social well-being.”
With entries representing 66 countries, this year’s YLA brought together a diverse group of visionaries aged 20 to 40. Standing out among them are Didi Gan from Singapore, founder of N&E Innovations and Suraj Nandakumar from India, co-founder and CEO of Recity Network. Gan developed an edible antimicrobial derived from upcycled food waste, offering a conscious alternative to traditional disinfectants that reduce both carbon and energy footprints. Meanwhile, Nandakumar’s circular plastic asset management company delivers environmental and economic value by providing ethically sourced and traceable post-consumer plastic recyclables, cutting down on virgin material use and consumer waste.
