All you need to know about the Lisa's MAC x L makeup collection
This much-anticipated collaboration will drop tomorrow on 12th November 2021 online and in-stores in Malaysia!
The world truly did stop when the news of Blackpink's Lisa collaborating with MAC Cosmetics to launch her first-ever makeup collection dropped in late October.
And this much-anticipated collection is set to launch worldwide on 12th November 2021 (which is tomorrow, as we publish this story!).
Ahead of the launch of the collection, let's bring you inside to get a sneak peek of what the Lisa x MAC collaboration is all about.
On her first makeup collection, Lisa says, "I’m so excited to reveal to you one of my biggest projects so far as Global Ambassador of M·A·C Cosmetics: my very own full-face makeup collection!"
"I curated the collection myself and designed every piece after things I absolutely love. Every shade, product, name and even the packaging design represents something very special to me."
Aptly named the "MAC x L" collection, this debut collaboration reflects various values shared between Lisa and MAC including artistry, creativity, self-expression, and more.
Designed by Lisa herself, the MAC x L collection is all about celebrating the beauty in everyone, where it is created for all races, gender and ages.
The product range within MAC x L includes all the iconic and signature stars like the Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolor, Brushstroke 24-hour Liner and more.
One of the hero products of the collection is the MAC x L Eye Shadow Palette, a vibrant and versatile palette that carries colours that can take you from day to night.
And each colour within is named after Lisa's favourite things from her beloved cats to her go-to ice-cream flavours. Some of the names include Leo, Louis, Candy Rapper and Milk Tea Ice Cream.
On the Powderkiss Liquid Lipcolour, Lisa has also created three unique shades - Rhythm N Roses, Swoon For Blooms and Pink Roses - to add the extensive MAC lip repertoire.
On the packaging design, Lisa adds, "I chose purple and glitter as the main look to give off a modern and glamorous feel. Of course, my signature on the packaging had to be in one of my favourite colours - yellow! But instead of regular yellow, I went with a special fluoro-yellow to represent neon lights that give a cool, hip-hop and urban vibe to the collection."
