L'Officiel Malaysia caught up with Ole Henriksen to learn more about the brand's latest&nbsp;Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer and his skincare philosophy.&nbsp;

Congratulations on the launch of Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer! How has your 2021 been?
Thank you! 2021 was certainly much better than 2020. While it still had its ups and downs, I felt more optimistic about the future. I was able to see my family in Denmark, travel to stores internationally and regain some normalcy.

We are so excited about Ole Henriksen&rsquo;s first-ever Peptide product! What inspired STRENGTH and is there any reason why you chose moisturizer as the debut product of this collection?
STRENGTH collection was inspired by the importance of having a strong moisture barrier, which is the outermost layer of your skin or the skin&rsquo;s first line of defence.
When your moisture barrier is strong, it keeps the good in and the bad out. We launched the Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer first since it&rsquo;s a universal daily moisturiser for all skin types that can be easily incorporated into everyone&rsquo;s skincare routine.

Tell us more about how Peptides, Ceramides and Collagen work in synergy in this formula.
Strength Trainer&rsquo;s powerful complex of ingredients was inspired by skin&rsquo;s building blocks.
8 Peptides - Peptides are chains of amino acids that are bonded together in unique ways to help build strength and condition skin.
3 Ceramides &ndash; Ceramides are lipids naturally found in your moisture barrier which are crucial for fortifying your moisture barrier and, also help skin bind and retain moisture.
Collagen &ndash; Collagen is naturally found in your skin and is known to help provide firmness. When applied topically, it helps hydrate and boost skin&rsquo;s elasticity.

What are some of the myths about ageing skin and age-defying skincare you want to debunk?
There&rsquo;s no fool proof way to stop your skin from aging. Aging is a natural process and I think it&rsquo;s important for people to embrace it.

Ole Henriksen is a very fresh and youthful brand and has a very young client base. What&rsquo;s your take on empowering the young generation and educating them about all things skin?
My advice would be to be patient with yourself, be kind with yourself as you work towards improving your skin. I saw transformational changes in my skin thanks to potent botanicals but also important was adjusting my lifestyle, adapting a healthier diet, like cutting out sugar.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Which product are you most proud of and who do you think would love it?
It&rsquo;s hard to choose one but if I had to pick, it would be the Banana Bright Eye Cr&egrave;me. Not only is it our best-selling product globally but the number one eye cream in Sephora US with a cult following.
This award-winning product was inspired by the makeup artist must-have &lsquo;banana powder,&rsquo; which instantly brightens and color-correct the eye area. It&rsquo;s suitable for everyone!

For someone new to Ole Henriksen, what is on your recommendation list?
First product I would recommend is a cult-favorite from our Truth Collection, the Banana Bright&trade; Eye Cr&egrave;me. It&rsquo;s one of our bestsellers and the number one eye cream at Sephora North America. Inspired by the makeup artist must-have &lsquo;banana powder,&rsquo; this eye cream instantly brightens and color-corrects the eye area. It&rsquo;s lightweight but extremely hydrating, targeting fine lines and wrinkles.
