Join Hermès for luxurious summer in the meadow this Spring/Summer 2024
Just chillin', the Hermès way.
The show notes state, “Sitting in a meadow amid tall grasses. Spring is in full swing. An impromptu picnic, unhurried chatter, birdsong, a lack of constraints. A gentle breeze stirs the flowers and leaves all around. The landscape is breathing. The sun caresses and awakens your skin.” – as if to set the tone for creative director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski's Spring/Summer 2024 collection for Hermès that was about to unfold.
It was a showcase of the Maison's unrivalled leather expertise. Leather jackets, skirts, trousers, shorts, and shirts predominate in subtle tones of brown, black, and burgundy, with basic, clean lines and a lightweight construction. There were as many apron dresses, knit bra tops, and cropped halters as there were tailored professional looks. Flat shoes and large totes highlighted the careful pattern matching and easy-going vibe.
