LIVE: Dior Fall 2022 show is happening at Seoul's Ewha Womans University
The show is set to happen at the prestigious university at 7 PM (Malaysia time) on 30th April 2022.
For the first time ever, Dior is set to host its fashion show in Seoul for the Fall 2022 collection, in partnership with the prestigious Ewha Womans University.
Continuing its efforts to empower women everywhere, this partnership with Ewha Womans University celebrates values from both Dior and the institute - to inspire and nurture future leaders, empowering women to promote gender equality in the community and to create a sustainable society for all.
The Dior Fall 2022 show is slated to go live at 7PM (Malaysia time) on 30th April 2022.
Along with the show, Dior has also worked with Ewha to launch a supportive and comprehensive CSR program at Ewha Womans University, providing students with a scholarship, a Women@Dior Internship Program, Retail Management Training Program, and master classes from our leaders; giving students at the University opportunities to experience the diversity and the innovation of the House, with the space and a platform for them to express their personality and opinions openly and creatively.
“The transmission of savoir-faire, education and sisterhood have always been fundamental values at the heart of Dior culture. Today, more than ever, we must enable the younger generations of women to become the talents of tomorrow. I believe that Ewha Womans University is the perfect partner to reach this goal.”
- Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture.
A UNIQUE CONCEPT STORE IN SEOUL
To add more to the celebration in Korea, Dior will also be hosting a one-of-a-kind concept store in Seongsu-dong, a former industrial zone that is now one of the trendiest and most innovative neighbourhoods in Seoul.
This exclusive ephemeral space will offer an unprecedented experience for its visitors with its various installations and decor including original pieces by Korean designers such as Kwangho Lee, who has created sculptural furniture in polystyrene foam, and Jeonghwa Seo, whose furniture fuses metals and natural materials such as wood or straw.
Another highlight to take note of is the collaboration between Dior and Korean digital design company d’strict to recreate the atmosphere of Christian Dior’s childhood villa in Granville, and the infinite beauty of his garden with its enchanting roses.
Reservations can be made via the Dior Seongsu app, which will be available to download on the official Dior website from 22nd April 2022 onwards.
