For Spring/Summer 2025, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons stage a women's collection that cleverly combines strong elements with wearable pieces for everyday life.

Prada must have a deep admiration for Alfred Hitchcock, as their ability to craft a sense of suspense and excitement in their shows rivals the work of the legendary director. From the moment you step into the theater, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that feels slightly unsettling. The hypnotic soundtrack plays eerie notes, creating tension that even the serene pastel blue d&eacute;cor&mdash;covering everything from the floor to the seats&mdash;can't quite alleviate.
Then the show begins. The models walk the runway like characters straight out of a thriller, embodying a "good girls gone bad" narrative in true Prada style. They wear sleeveless little black dresses, but with a twist: these dresses are punctured with oversized piercings. Jackets, seemingly borrowed from their mothers' closets, are paired with mirrored mini-skirts. Sensible pleated skirts take on a rebellious edge as they&rsquo;re unfastened at the waist and refastened with metal rings that reveal bare skin beneath.&nbsp;
The oversized, retro-futuristic sunglasses are impossible to miss and are designed to cover a large portion of the face. The bags and shoes also demand attention, with some pieces reimagining iconic Prada designs&mdash;from lace-up shoes with rope wedges to high heels that look like they&rsquo;re on fire. While not groundbreaking in an avant-garde sense, the collection is undeniably covetable, with each piece crafted to inspire desire.
