Dior unveils new documentary "The Greek Bar Jacket"

Through the lens of Athenian filmmaker Marianna Economou, the secrets behind Dior's Cruise 2022 collection are revealed as creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri's inspirations and creative process for the collection is dissected in the brand's latest film "The Greek Bar Jacket."
"The Greek Bar Jacket" gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the collection as Economou guides them through the inspirations and the streets of Athens that ultimately created the collection.
Collaborating with different talents, artisans, and ateliers from the region, Chiuri uses savoir-faire to explore the deep links between art, tradition, and fashion expressed through cultural splendor.
The collection, presented in June at the Panathinaikó stadium in Athens, embodies the heritage of Greek poets, artists, and other legends while displaying a dual femininity of incomparable beauty and unshakable strength. In other words, Maria Grazia Chiuri speaks of the identity of the modern woman.
