Saint Laurent unveils its first fine jewellery collection
Saint Laurent has finally joined the world of high jewellery as it unveils the house's first Haute Joaillerie collection.
High jewellery and high fashion has always been a harmonious marriage and the latest fashion house to enter this decadent sector is the house of Saint Laurent.
For the first time ever, Saint Laurent presents a beautiful Haute Joaillerie collection designed by Anthony Vaccarello, featuring a collection of rings, earrings, cuffs and necklaces designed and crafted with painstakingly selected yellow gold, white gold, diamonds and precious stones.
Besides the references YSL gives to many unforgettable fashion shows, the timeless designs in the collection also point to the many key motifs of the brand, such as Cassandre and Maillon.
Furthermore, the dynamism in the designs, from necklaces and rings with YSL's logo to sharp lines and metal-weighted pieces, emphasizes the timeless and noble stance of fine jewellery.
Juergen Teller, who shot the campaign, has shown us limitless potential of these masterpiees through a set of stunning imagery and videos where the jewellery collection are stacked with one and other to create a new refreshing take on high jewellery.
