Moschino drops Sesame Street collection starring Kacey Musgraves
Moschino’s latest release is given the Sesame Street treatment with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Bert and Ernie appear on a selection of ready-to-wear.
Reimagined through the Moschino lens and born of love for our favourite childhood friends, the collection is all about the lovely characters and the colourful world of Sesame Street. The designs are set on neutral fabrics of black, white and heather grey, allowing the colours to speak for themselves.
The collection turns to casual silhouettes such as knitted cardigans, sweaters, tracksuits and hooded windbreaker for the ready-to-wear pieces, elsewhere, the accessory line offers a range of nylon bags embroidered with the characters.
For the campaign, Moschino casts award-winning singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves as the campaign star with a 60-sec campaign film directed by Greg Swales and Sophie Pape. The film documents a hip and vibrant set with touches of inspiration from Sesame Street but now made an urban cool beat added within.
