Rose Dior Couture completes La Rose Dior jewellery line
In honour of the French house’s cherished emblem.
“Fortunately, there are flowers,” Monsieur Dior confided the admiration in his memoirs. The seed of love was planted during his childhood spent at Villa Les Rhumbs in Granville where his mother grew a garden full of roses.
And when Monsieur Dior started his career as a couturier, rose became a fundamental element of his design. The Miss Dior dress from the 1949 Spring Summer Haute Couture collection and the Opéra Bouffe dress from the 1956 Haute Couture collection are among the most iconic representations.
Victorie de Castellane, the Artistic Director of Joaillerie share the same love of rose with Monsieur Dior. This season, she completes the precious garden of La Rose Dior with Rose Dior Couture, joining the existing Bois de Rose, Rose Dior Bagatelle and Rose Pré Catelan lines.
Scroll down to discover the new Rose Dior Couture and the renewal of Bois de Rose, Rose Bagatelle and Rose Pré Catelan lines:
ROSE DIOR COUTURE
Taking cue from the buoyant roses seen on Dior’s Haute Couture creations, Rose Dior Couture mimics the silkiness of fabric flower with soft, dimensional silhouettes in rose gold and diamonds.
BOIS DE ROSE
With just the stem accentuated with gold or diamond thorns, Bois de Rose has the most discreet interpretation of rose among La Rose Dior. This season, a bangle version is unveiled for the first time, which retains Bois de Rose’s minimalist core for endless styling possibilities.
ROSE DIOR BAGATELLE
Named after the Parisian rose garden, Rose Dior Bagatelle shows off Dior’s jewellery artistry by giving life and motion to a curation of blossoming roses dazzling in white gold and diamonds. Standing out from the newest designs are the mono-earring, two-finger ring, open bangle and necklace with interlaced clasp.
ROSE PRÉ CATELAN
Bringing together the soft hue of rose quartz, and the dynamic amethyst and onyx, Rose Pré Catelan boasts a joyful garden with extravagant and generous volumes.
